Founding the club in 1990,
Sensei Watson has overseen the running of the club
as Senior Coaching Officer /Coaching Assessor at the Coatbridge Ju-Jitsu Club,
The Time Capsule, Monklands, Central Scotland.
The number of members has varied over the years but the standard of teaching
has always remained at a very high standard.
A lot of his spare time is devoted to running the club along with his wife
Jacqui who is a club coach.
He is constantly striving to teach a wide range of effective techniques,
encompassing many of his learned styles.
Sensei Watson began his study of martial arts in 1979
during which he started studying Ju-jitsu in 1984.
He is a member of the ( I.I.B.B ) International Institute Of Black Belts (view here)

Sensei Watson also has affiliation with Ishin Ryu Ju-Jitsu,

Studying a wide variety of different styles including Karate, Aikido, Kali, Hapkido,
Eskrima System and Kobudo Kobu-Jitsu as well as various other styles of Ju-jitsu.
To date Frank holds a Black belt in Ju-Jitsu , Aikido and Karate.
His favourite Kobudo weapon is the Tonfa either single or double,
using it for strikes, locks, take downs , throws etc.
He is also a fully qualified First Aider as well as having an indepth knowledge
of Safety and Physical fitness as a Physical Training Instructor.
He has attended many courses/seminars over the years covering different styles
from his own Ju-Jitsu to Hapkido , furthering his knowledge of the Combat Arts.
Also having 9 years experience in the forces - ex army,
this brings another aspect into having a wider awareness for personal protection
and self defense.
After devoting a lot of time to improving the study of Ju-Jitsu & Self Defense
Sensei Watson takes some time out to relax by playing the guitar which he has a various collection ranging from accoustic,electric 6 & 12 string as well as a guitar banjo.
Sensei Watson is available for Teaching , Seminars , Courses
or even class sessions at your own club, no matter the size of your class:
wether it be Ju-Jitsu , Kobujitsu , Self defense & Awarness ,
Female Self Defense & Awarness, or Weapon Defense Instruction,
